Clinic+ vs Pabau

Pabau goes deeper on aesthetics and marketing; Clinic+ publishes its prices and answers your website. Where each one is the better fit.

How to check this

Everything below about Pabau was read from their own site on . Where something is not in the product we say it is not listed on the page we read, because that is what we know. Products change — if you find a difference, theirs is the page to believe.

What Pabau is

Pabau is an all-in-one system for clinics, strongest around medical aesthetics — their features page names medspa, dermatology and cosmetic surgery alongside fertility, mental health, physical therapy and general private practice. Running a practice, patient management, marketing, staff and payments, in one place.

Where Pabau is the better product

Marketing automation, which we do not have

Automated campaigns, workflows, email and SMS marketing, with a paid upgrade for more of it. Clinic+ sends appointment communications — reminders, recalls, the waiting list — and nothing that is a campaign. If bringing people back through marketing is how you fill the diary, that gap is real and it is not close.

Aesthetics tooling we do not match

Before-and-after photo tools built for sharing, and injection plotting that marks treatment points on the image. We hold before-and-after photographs on the record behind the clinical permission, which is the storage half of that and not the practice half.

Stock and multi-location, like us

Both are in Pabau. This is not a difference, and pretending it were would be the easiest way to lose your trust on the rest of this page.

Where Clinic+ is different

You can see what it costs

Pabau's pricing page publishes its two smallest plans and asks larger teams to book a demo for a quote. Every Clinic+ price is on one page: what each plan includes, what a seat costs, where the module lines are. Whether that matters depends on how you buy — some people would rather have the conversation. If you would rather not, it matters a lot.

A free plan, not a trial

Clinic+ has one. Pabau's pricing page does not mention a free trial at all, which makes evaluating it a conversation rather than a signup.

An assistant that holds the conversation

Pabau has AI in the product — their features page describes Pabau Scribe for routine patient management and marketing tasks. What is not listed is an assistant on your website that answers a visitor and books the slot. That is the one ours is built around, in 24 languages.

Set up for your speciality on arrival

Pick your clinic type at sign-up and the services, the assistant's tone and the questions it can answer are already there. It is a smaller claim than it sounds — it saves a first week, not a year — but it is the difference between evaluating a product and configuring one.

“Not listed” means it does not appear on the pages linked above. It is a statement about those pages, not about what the product can be made to do.

Choose Pabau if

You run an aesthetics or medspa practice where marketing fills the diary, or you want injection plotting and campaign automation in the same system as the records. That is what it is built for and it is further down that road than we are.

Choose Clinic+ if

You want to see the price before you talk to anybody, you want the website answering enquiries in your patients' languages, or you want to start free and decide later.

Questions

Does Clinic+ do marketing campaigns?
No. We send what an appointment needs — reminders, recalls, waiting-list offers — and nothing promotional. Keeping the two apart is deliberate: mixing appointment messages with marketing is how a clinic loses the ability to send either. But if you want campaign automation, Pabau has it and we do not.
Is Clinic+ suitable for an aesthetics clinic?
Yes, and it is one of the ten clinic types that arrive configured — before-and-after photographs, consent to treat and consent to publish recorded separately, courses of treatment. What we do not have is the marketing layer and the injection plotting. If those are central to how you work, weigh them properly rather than taking our word for it.
Why compare on published pricing at all?
Because it is one of the few things about a vendor you can check before you spend an hour on a call. It is not a judgement about Pabau — quoting per clinic is a normal way to sell software, and for larger teams it is often the more accurate one. It is simply a difference, and it is the difference some buyers care most about.

The only comparison that settles it is your own week

Put one real week through both — the same bookings, the same cancellations, the same two awkward patients. Clinic+ is free to start and takes no card.
