Practice management for nutrition and dietetics
Your treatment is a line going in the right direction. Every measurement is tracked as a series, online consultations are proper appointments rather than a workaround, and the follow-up rhythm that decides whether a programme finishes is kept for you.
14 days, the whole product. No card to start, nothing charged if you stop.
One reading says nothing. The shape of six says everything.

It already knows how you like this handled
When the patient asks about weight loss or a nutrition goal
- 1Ask about their goal and whether they have tried a program before.
- 2Note the plan is personalized and needs an initial measurement/assessment.
- 3Offer a first consultation and measurement appointment.
Where it earns its place in your week
The chart is the reason there is a week twelve
Track as much as you measure, each as a series. What you show at week eight is what keeps somebody going.
Online is a real appointment
Video visits sit on the same calendar under the same rules. Much of this work never comes to the room, and it should not feel like an exception when it does not.
Programmes with a pulse
A plan is a package, follow-ups are a cadence, and the reminders do the chasing. Finishing rate is the whole business.
The detail
What running a nutrition clinic on Clinic+ actually looks like
Four parts of a visit — what you write down, when they come in, how you get paid, what brings them back. Everything listed here exists today.
What you write down
01- Weight, waist and body fat as a series, with the trend drawn and the change since the first visit.
- The diet list written in the system, meal by meal, and sent as a link the patient opens on their phone.
- Consultation notes across a programme, readable as one story rather than six visits.
- Before-and-after photographs on the record, for the change a number on its own never conveys.
- The chart you show at week eight, which is usually the reason there is a week twelve.
- Packages counted down by the calendar rather than in your head.
When they come in
02- Online consultations as a real modality on the same calendar, under the same rules.
- 45 minutes for a first consultation, 20 for a follow-up, set per service.
- A follow-up cadence held by the calendar instead of by memory.
- Self-service rescheduling, which matters when much of your list never comes to the room.
How you get paid
03- Programme packages sold as one item with instalments across the follow-ups.
- Per-consultation and per-programme selling units.
- Online visits priced and billed exactly like in-person ones.
- Outstanding balances visible before the next session rather than after it.
What brings them back
04- Reminders that hold the rhythm a programme finishes on.
- Cancellation reasons and no-show rates, so a programme that stalls is visible before it ends.
- Every revision of a plan kept, so “what did we give them last month” has an answer.
- The assistant answers what to bring, how long it takes and whether online is available.
Questions it can answer before you have written anything
These come with nutrition & dietetics and you can rewrite any of them. Add four or five of your own in the first week and you will notice the phone ringing less — it is the cheapest improvement available to you.
How the FAQ feeds the assistantHow soon will I see results?
Results depend on your goal and consistency; regular follow-ups are usually advised for sustainable progress. We can arrange a first consultation.
Are online consultations possible?
Many consultations can be done online; an in-person visit may be preferred for the initial assessment and measurements. We can pick what suits you.
Before you decide
The questions that decide whether this fits, including the ones where the answer is no.
- Can I bring my patient list across from my current system?
- Yes — export your patients as a CSV and the import wizard reads the columns, suggests a mapping and lets you correct it before anything is written. It carries contact details: name, phone, email, date of birth, gender, national id, address and preferred language. What it does NOT carry is appointment history, clinical notes or financial history. Those either stay in your old system as an archive or come across by hand, and that is worth planning for before you pick a switchover date.
- Can I track measurements across a programme?
- Yes. Measurements are recorded per visit and carry forward as a series, which is the shape nutrition work actually has — the trend is the clinical content, not any single reading.
- Can I sell a programme rather than single appointments?
- Yes, as a package priced once and paid across months if needed, with what is used and what remains on the record.
- Are meal plans or client programmes built in?
- No. There is nothing for building a protocol, sending a plan between appointments or tracking adherence to one. Products aimed specifically at nutrition and health coaching do this, and if the work between appointments is most of the work, weigh that properly.
- Can clients book their own follow-ups?
- Yes — the assistant on your website books real slots, and patients can move or cancel their own appointment up to a cutoff you set, after which they get your phone number instead.
- Are video consultations included?
- No. There is no built-in video, so remote sessions run in a separate tool.
- Is there really a free plan, or is it a trial?
- A plan. One seat, no card, and it does not expire. You are not evaluating against a countdown, which matters because a fortnight is not long enough to tell whether a clinic system fits — a month of real bookings is.
