Choosing your clinic type

What the type seeds on day one, and why nothing re-reads it afterwards.

The type you pick at setup is a starting point, not a mode. Ten are available: dental, aesthetics, general health, physiotherapy, hair clinic, veterinary, dermatology, nutrition, optometry and cosmetic surgery.

What it seeds

  • A starter service list, priced as on request — we never invent amounts. You set real prices in Finance.
  • A handful of FAQ entries the assistant can answer from immediately.
  • The assistant's tone and the topics it is allowed to discuss.
  • A starter conversation flow for the questions that vertical gets most.

Example

What a dental clinic starts with

  • Services — examination, cleaning, filling, root canal, implant consultation, all priced "on request"
  • FAQ — do you take walk-ins, is the first consultation free, do you treat children
  • Assistant — knows that "implant" is a consultation-first treatment and asks before offering a slot
Tip

Everything seeded is ordinary, editable content the moment it lands. Delete a seeded service, rewrite a seeded FAQ — nothing regenerates it and nothing depends on it.

Picking the "wrong" one

It costs you a few minutes of cleanup, nothing more. After setup, no part of the product reads the type to decide what you are allowed to do. A dental clinic and a veterinary clinic run exactly the same software.

If your clinic does not fit any of the ten, choose general health and shape it yourself. That is what it is for.

Multi-speciality clinics

Pick whichever vertical is your largest and add the rest as specialties. The type only ever seeded content; specialties are the thing patients and the assistant actually route on.

Common questions

Can I change the type after setup?
The stored value can change, but nothing re-seeds — the services and FAQ entries you already have stay exactly as they are. In practice, editing the content directly is faster than changing the type.
Will the seeded services show to patients with no price?
They show as "on request", which is honest until you set a price. If you would rather they did not appear at all, deactivate them in Finance → Services.
